Irrigation, Trees & Landscaping in Gilbert, AZ

Gilbert, Maricopa County — the East Valley.

Gilbert went from farm town to finished suburb in about fifteen years. Most of the city was built between the late 1990s and the end of the 2000s, which means the houses, the yards, the irrigation and the trees all went in within a few seasons of each other — and they are all reaching the same age at the same time. A valve that has been opening and closing since 2003 gives out the same summer as the one three houses down. A ficus or a sissoo planted as a stick at build-out is now taller than the roof it was planted next to. The gravel in the front yard has faded and gone thin enough that the dirt shows through and the HOA notices.

Primos Landscaping LLC works Gilbert out of Mesa, in English and Spanish — irrigation leaks and new lines, tree and palm trimming, sod, rock and desert design, patios and paver work, and cleanups that end with a loaded trailer. The estimate is free, and we look at the yard before we quote it.

Why local knowledge matters in Gilbert

Irrigation and tree work are where most of the calls in Gilbert land, and they are the two we put first. A whole subdivision running the same twenty-year-old system means the same failures over and over — a valve weeping under the rock, a poly line split at a barb fitting, a drip zone where half the emitters stopped years ago and nobody noticed until the shrubs did. The trees are that same story from above: planted at build-out, never thinned, and now heavy enough to catch wind or lean on a block wall.

The rest follows from how a Gilbert yard is actually shaped. Front yards answer to an HOA with an opinion about rock color, plant counts and height. Back yards are small and used hard, so turf, pavers and shade do more for them than a big lawn would. And because the newer streets sit on compacted fill that does not drain, grading comes before anything gets laid on top of it — sod, gravel or pavers, it makes no difference.

Neighbourhoods we work in: Val Vista Lakes, Agritopia, Power Ranch, Morrison Ranch, Seville.
